Serving the changing needs of New York's food and agricultural industries since 1832, The NYS Agricultural Society continued that mission with their annual meeting at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool. Keynote speaker, New York Times science columnist, Jane Brody complimented the food producers for their quality products saying it's not food that causes nutritional and weight problems in America, but the choices made by the people consuming that food. Panel discussions covered developments in biotechnology and envisioning agriculture's future. |
