Senator Hoffmann attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the official opening of Morrisville State College's third indoor riding arena. Two days prior to the ceremony, Senator Hoffmann had received a special tour of the new facility with Senate Majority Leader Joe Bruno (R-Rensselaer)
.
Morrisville State College offers a bachelor of technology degree in equine science and two associate degrees in equine racing management and equine science and management. Morrisville State College's comprehensive Equine Breeding and Training Center includes a 34,000 square-foot breeding and hunter jumper facility, a breeding and foaling barn, a hunter/jumper barn, a five-stall stallion barn, a complete breeding laboratory, collection area, laptop classroom and three indoor riding arenas.
