Events & Activities - Independence Day Parades for 2003 in Manlius and Hamilton - July 4, 2003

 

 


Senator Hoffmann received the Distinguished Citizen Award from the Village of Manlius during their July 4th Parade. At the award ceremonies following the parade, Village leaders thanked Senator Hoffmann for her help with a variety of major projects over the past 20 years. Tom Chartrand of Manlius volunteered his driving services and his convertible for the event.



It was a VERY sunny day. Peter Nichols provided Senator Hoffmann's Hamilton Parade transportation with his 1987 Corvette.


Sarkis Harootunian, Senator Hoffmann's Legal Counsel, accepts on behalf of Senator Hoffmann, a Special Recognition award presented to Senator Hoffmann by the Village of Manlius. Standing with Sarkis is Village of Manlius mayor, Edward Lowenstein.




Norman K. Dann of Peterboro shows off his craftsmanship on the Hamilton Green following the parade. His flatware designs include intricate pieces celebrating the history of Peterboro and surrounding area.

Junior Young Leaders Katie Wratten of Hubbardsville and Paige Stone of Madison told Senator Hoffmann they are headed to Washington, D.C. this summer.
