SU Freshman phenom, Carmelo Anthony, follows Senator Hoffmann from the Senate Chamber, April 15, after a resolution sponsored by Senator Hoffmann was passed honoring the Orangemen. Coming through the door behind Anthony is Craig Forth, well-known in the Albany-area as a star at Columbia High School.
On April 24, 2003, Carmelo Anthony announced he will enter the NBA draft. Coach Boeheim said, "As much as we would like to have him here, (although he's only a freshman and not yet 19 years old) he is ready to play at the next level."
