Events & Activities - B.B. King in Syracuse - March 14, 2003

Over 2,000 people jammed Syracuse's Landmark Theater for the B.B. King Concert. The Post Standard rated it a four star performance.

B.B.King , at 77 years old still puts on a dynamic show. One person at the concert commented, "Hard to believe that he sits for most of the performance."

Senator Hoffmann joined B.B. King on his bus after the show.

Turnabout is fair play for B.B. King, he asked Senator Hoffmann to autograph a picture for him while he talked with Gustav Hoffmann.

B.B. King has been very supportive of Senator Hoffmann's Civil Rights Connection. He visits with the CRC students when he performs in Syracuse. Participants in the CRC trips to Mississippi go to the show he puts on as part of the Medgar Evers Homecoming.
